Clivias

The stunning new colours pictured here are amongst  the many seedlings I've grown in my shade house since 2000, from  seed I sourced in South Africa and New Zealand.  The variations are many, with distinct differences in petal shape as well as in the colours. Some blooms are rounded like a cup or chalice whilst others are slender, in many subtle shades of pale pink, peach, cream, apricot, orange, red and yellow.

I'll be selling seed and seedling plants of some of these new colours in future years. Colour variations from seed are always unpredictable, so it's a sure thing they will produce a fascinating range of colours in a few years time.

Seed from various colours will be available to buy from late November 2009. Please visit the site again from November onwards for prices and availability.
