Most of these images are from my own garden - as a photographer I find the detail within each individual bloom is a fascinating world in miniature. The beauty of digital photography is that I can click away to my heart's content until I get the perfect shot I'm looking for. Viewing my garden through the lens of a camera makes me see things in quite a different light - literally!   

Some of the lush garden images you see here are from my sister Kathy's beautiful garden in New Zealand. She cleverly uses daylilies as colour highlights in the garden beds. As you can see, she is quite the green thumb - and I'm green with envy! 

Pictured below is Neon Lights, an amazingly prolific lemon daylily which has been a real highlight in my garden this Spring.  It will be available to order in 2009.
